Who the Herb's are

At HERB Angus, cattle aren't simply our business they're our way of life. We are a family of five, deeply immersed in the cattle industry and committed to raising quality purebred Angus cattle that are built to work for commercial cattlemen and fellow Angus breeders. From calving season to breeding, pasture turnout, fall work and everything in between, our family is hands on in every aspect of the operation. For us, raising cattle is about more than numbers on a pedigree. It's about raising cattle that work, building genetics that perform, and creating relationships with the people who trust us with their herds.

Each February, we proudly host our Annual HERB Angus Bull Sale, where we offer a strong set of Angus bulls developed with the commercial cattleman in mind.

Our goal is simple: produce bulls that can go to work. We focus on functional cattle with the genetics, structure, performance and longevity to make a difference in the herds they're added to. We're proud of the cattle we raise, but we're even more proud of the customers who put HERB Angus genetics to work across the country.

Our involvement in the cattle industry extends well beyond our own cow herd.

We provide heifer development and backgrounding services for customers, helping producers develop females that are prepared for the next stage of their production program. We also provide bull development services for purebred breeders, working with fellow cattlemen to develop young herd sires to their fullest potential. And through our custom artificial insemination program, we AI several thousand cows and heifers each year. This gives us the opportunity to work alongside producers and breeders from across the industry while helping them utilize genetics that can move their programs forward.

While cattle keep us busy most of the year, our favorite moments away from the ranch usually involve horses, family and a little competition. When we're not working cattle, you'll often find our family horseback. Mom and daughter compete in barrel racing, giving us another opportunity to spend time together doing something we love. It's a pretty good life raising cattle, raising kids, chasing dreams and doing it all together.
